Daily timetable School times

Before school, children wait at the playground at the rear of the buildings until the siren goes at 8:40am. This will be supervised by a teacher. On the siren, students go straight to class to get organised for the day.

Parking for drop-off and pick-up of children

Parent parking is provided at the front of the school on Canterbury Crescent, and in Taranaki St for dropping off and picking up students. There is a "kiss and drop" zone in Canterbury Crescent where you can wait but not get out of your vehicle on the left hand side. The parking zone is on the right hand side of the road.

Parents who park in the staff carpark must have an official disability permit displayed. Other parents are not permitted to park in the staff carpark as this becomes dangerous for children with staff cars exiting and entering the carpark at high traffic times of the day.

Classroom Healthy Eating
Eat Well Be Active
Children who eat healthy snacks and drink water throughout the day have an increased ability to focus on learning. We encourage students to have healthy snack food and water in the classrooms. Students choose when they need to eat and drink throughout the day.

Recommended snack foods include;
  • Fresh fruit and vegetables - cut up or whole
  • Dried fruit
  • Cheese
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • A sandwich
  • Plain popcorn
We recommend unprocessed foods, low in sugar and salt, and also with minimum packaging please to minimise rubbish in our yard.

NB: We adhere to DECD policies & guidelines, and are responsive to student food allergies on a needs basis.

School Canteen
The School Canteen is open at lunch time 11:30am to 11:50 am Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It operates on a break even cost to make healthy food and the convenience of the canteen available to all families.
